Domestic Delivery Updates

Please consider the possibility of delays for any perishable / cold chain or time sensitive items moving into; through; out of weather impacted areas.

Thursday 22nd January - Heavy Rain and Flooding

With widespread heavy rain and flooding and a large number of road closures there will be pick-up and delivery delays in affected areas.

For updates on individual courier items, please click here for track and trace. If only a 'Pick-up' scan is showing, it is possible items are stuck in transit (and we will not be able to supply you with additional information).

The below links will provide you with specific information on your local area.

Our aim is to ensure parcels reach their destinations as safely and quickly as possible, however in the next 24 hours there may be areas that are unsafe for pick-up/delivery and linehaul connection

Wednesday 21st January 8.45am - Tropical storm hitting the North Island

Heavy rain continues to impact North Island roads, with rain warnings in place for Northland, Coromandel Peninsula, Bay of Plenty, including Rotorua and Gisborne north of Tokomaru Bay.  There is flooding in Northland and Coromandel and widespread rain is expected to continue into Thursday (some areas may also be impacted by high winds).

Please consider the possibility of delays for any perishable / cold chain or time sensitive items moving moving into; through; out of weather impacted areas.

Our team is working to a 'safety first' protocol - this means that some pick-ups and deliveries may not happen until the extreme weather lessens - there may also be same-day freight movements impacted in severely hit areas.

We continue to review the situation and implement contingency plans where possible - however, in some areas, access will not be safe until the severe weather eases.

Our aim is to ensure parcels reach their destinations as safely and quickly as possible, however in the next 48 hours there may be areas that are unsafe for pick-up/delivery and inter-city connection.

Monday 19th January - Slight delays into and out of Gisborne Region / Large slips in the Waioweka Gorge (SH2)

Large slips in the Waioweka Gorge (north of Gisborne) mean that inbound and outbound linehaul runs will need to be diverted (this may result in slight delays for courier items which would usually be moved via SH2 north of Gisborne).

It appears that it will be a number of weeks before this route is accessible.
